興石は、数奇屋建築の中村外二工務店の設計および建築施工会社として1984年に設立されました。
その4年後には指物部と家具部を開設し、これが現在の興石の礎となっています。
興石家具部では、設立以来、日本の住空間とも調和するデンマーク家具を輸入、販売しております。
ヴィンテージ家具だけではなく今なお作り続けられている現行品も多数取り扱っております。
Kohseki was founded in 1984 as a design & construction company of sukiya style buildings (a house in the style of a tea-ceremony pavilion), Nakamura Sotoji Komuten. Four years later, Kohseki was expanded with a Lighting Fixtures Division and a Danish Furniture Division.
These are the foundation of Kohseki.
Since the foundation, the Furniture Division has been in business of import and sale of Danish furniture which harmonizes with the living space in Japan.
Today, our product range is not only selected high-quality vintage furniture from Denmark, but also a broad range of other furniture which has been in continuous production as well.
